DAYTON -- University of Dayton freshman star Chris Wright will be sidelined at least four to six weeks after fracturing his right ankle during Wednesday's game against Rhode Island.

Wright was injured when he landed awkwardly on a reverse layup early in the first half. He's tentatively scheduled to have surgery Monday to implant two screws into the right medial malleolus (on the inside of the ankle), according to Dr. Tim Quinn, UD's orthopedic consultant.
