The whole world is watching Ohio. The election still looks like it might be paper thin. The secretary of state is at odds with the courts about who should be allowed to vote when there's a dispute over registration. Both parties are more focused than ever on making sure that all their people vote and that the other side doesn't cheat. There's been talk about out-of-town lawyers hovering around, and accusations of fraudulent registrations. And the punch-card system is still in play. And there was Florida. Thus, the nightmares. Enter Montgomery County Republican Chairman John White with excellent news. He won't send hundreds of party volunteers to Democratic precincts to challenge the registration of voters.
