LEBANON -- The village of Waynesville is back on the defensive in the struggle with former Manager Rodney S. Smith about $43,025 in severance pay.
On Wednesday, the cashstrapped Warren County village asked the 12th District Court of Appeals in Middletown to reconsider its reversal of a Warren County judge's dismissal of Smith's lawsuit. In July 2006, Smith and Finance Director Scott Campbell resigned before the village learned from state auditors it was probably headed into a fiscal emergency.See the full content of this document
