KETTERING -- AT&T has been placing video ready access devices in Kettering and Oakwood. The devices, known as VRADs, allow the telephone company to transmit video to consumer homes by way of copper wires that are normally used for telephone transmissions.
The telephone company needs the 48-inch-tall, 48-inchwide devices in order to enter in the video/cable market in these communities.See the full content of this document
