Four Ohio universities, including the University of Dayton, are among schools nationwide chosen by the Department of Defense to receive federal grants for buying instrumentation to support research that could benefit military agencies.
The Defense Department said it plans to award a total of $49.3 million in 210 grants to 98 academic institutions. The awards are subject to completion of negotiations between Defense Department research offices and the universities, according to a government statement.See the full content of this document
