TROY-- Service reductions, fare increases and a tax levy are among options being looked at to help cover the local cost of the Miami County Transit system.

Results of an in-depth look at the demand-response system's expenses and revenue sources, including state and federal grants, and options for covering the approximate $300,000 local cost for operations were outlined June 4 by Elaine Carter, transit director, to city officials and agencies using the service.
