Halloween presents challenges for many Christians. To counterbalance the paganistic theme of Halloween, many people of faith are looking for ways to use the holiday to share the gospel with others. And while most folks will shovel out candy or other calorie-rich goodies when trick-or-treaters ring the doorbell, others see Halloween as the perfect time to hand out religious tracts.
"We had a bunch of biblical Halloween tracts up until last week, when we sold out," said Aquila Wickline, manager of the Christian Light Bookstore at 5537 Salem Ave., Trotwood. "They are very, very popular because they give an alternative to the witches and goblins of Halloween. Tracts are a powerful witnessing tool for the Christian message."See the full content of this document
