A new scheduling procedure in the Central Buckeye Conference was intended more for baseball. Tippecanoe High School softball coach Charles Tackett is becoming a fan of it as well.
Games with opponents inside the division are played on consecutive days and not a few days or weeks apart. The goal is to reward pitching depth and not allow a team's ace to start every division game.
