I'm beginning to compile my Christmas shopping list. Hey, there's plenty of time. I'll probably check out Elder-Beerman and Best Buy. Maybe take an ill-advised stroll through the mall (unless I get sidetracked by the St. Petersburg Bowl). One thing I know I will not do: go to Jared. If there's a more annoying TV ad campaign, I haven't seen it.
Bowled over: Wonder if Santa will forget to drop in on the Northern Hemisphere on Christmas Eve because Notre Dame is playing. I think he'll maintain his focus.
