His passion for the mushrooms dot the menu in spring season, and this year the morel festival moves outside to the parking lot, at 101 E. Main St., in downtown Mason on Sunday
Morel hunters have been bringing in their specimens for weigh- ins, and the winners will be announced, as well as winners in a morel recipe contest. The festival, open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., will include local artisans, potters, morel paraphernalia, music and, of course, morels. The restaurant and wine bar will also be open.
