I've been appalled at the daily listing of sheriff sales, so I really appreciated the July 17 editorial about foreclosures. Seems to me the subject of predatory lending comes up every year and politicians talk about what they have done, which apparently isn't much. Here's a thought I hope you will find worth considering.

Picture a matrix with the left hand vertical axes made up of a listing of five or six key faults in Ohio lending laws. Across the top horizontal headings, after the listing of faults, would be these headings:
