Rudi Johnson's the grand marshal of today's parade in Cincinnati. A great choice. And there's no truth to the rumor that Rudi threatened to sleep in if he wasn't given an invitation to ride and wave for the next five years.
- Team vs. talent: I'll be cheering for Illinois tonight, but I'm not confident that the Illini can become the first D-I team to finish a season with 38 wins. I just keep thinking back to how Arizona's Channing Frye had his way with the Big Ten's best. UNC big man Sean May's better than Frye. If May consistently gets the ball on the block in the first five minutes, it could be a long night. Illinois is the better team, but the smart money's on the superior talent.
