DAYTON -- A 5-yearold girl was transported to Children's Medical Center on Friday afternoon, March 20, with facial injuries after being attacked by a pit bull in the 100 block of North Orchard Avenue.
According to a police report, children were outside playing around 4:20 p.m. when someone said a pit bull was running loose in the neighborhood. The child jumped off her bike and started to run across the street. A white pit bull with black spots saw the girl, ran after her and knocked her down. Witnesses said the dog grabbed her like it was playing with a rag doll and began mauling and biting her.See the full content of this document
