KETTERING -- A tradition of basketball success no longer is the sole possession of the boys at Alter High School.

"With what we did this year, I think we are now are part of the tradition of basketball excellence at Alter," girls coach Chris Hart said. "I think we've established ourselves as a program that will contend for league and district championships on a yearly basis and get mentioned in the ratings."
