Ud Student Says Libyan Hometown Needs Protection

Summary


DAYTON -- A University of Dayton graduate student from Libya said Monday he is glad the United Nations has intervened against Moammar Gadhafi in his attempts to squelch a rebellion in the African nation.

The U.N. has authorized the use of any means necessary to establish a no-fly zone over a large portion of the country. On Saturday, American and European forces began a broad campaign of strikes against Gadhafi's military.
