Gov. Ted Strickland doesn't sound like somebody who's thinking about what it would be like to be vice president. There's buzz in some national political circles that the Democratic candidate for president will need an Ohioan on the ticket. His name has come up.
But, in an interview Thursday, Strickland noted that in three months his term as governor will be a quarter over. He made that comment in response to a question about why he wanted Ohio's colleges to create a 10-year strategic plan for themselves -- by the end of this year.
