DAYTON -- DeShawn Smith's stepmother, Shantae Smith, kept screaming "This ain't right" and family members wept behind yellow police tape Monday, Aug. 11, as his body was loaded into a Montgomery County coroner's vehicle.

The 15-year-old had been shot in the head by a 13-year-old boy about 3:30 p.m. while on the front porch of a one-story house at 715 Tyson Ave., police said.
