For three consecutive weekends beginning in late May, the Miami Valley hosted large soccer tournaments that brought a combined 1,210 teams to the area.
The second of those events was the Creek Classic, which hosted about 400 teams at the John Ankeney Soccer Complex in Beavercreek Twp. While Ankeney, executive director of the Beavercreek Soccer Association, and others involved in that event are accustomed to running large tournaments, they haven't seen this kind of buzz.See the full content of this document
