COLUMBUS - Private employers will be getting a 20 percent discount on their next workers' compensation bills, which will add up to $170 million in savings for businesses statewide.
The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation decided Thursday to give the discount even though the bureau's investment surplus is below the agency's preferred threshold of $1 billion.
