Centerville and Sugarcreek Twp. continued their argument over who is entitled to property taxes from the Dille farm on Aug. 4, making their cases before a three-judge panel from the Ohio Second District Court of Appeals. Appeals court rulings often take one to three months.
Centerville legally annexed the 268 acres near Wilmington Pike and Interstate 675 under an "expedited type 2" procedure that means the property also remains part of Sugarcreek Twp. A March ruling in a Greene County court said Sugarcreek Twp. retains rights to property taxes from the land.See the full content of this document
