COLUMBUS -- Flanked by his son, daughter and wife and standing in front of the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation headquarters, state Sen. Marc Dann, D-Warren, announced his bid for state attorney general in 2006.

Dann, 43, an attorney, promised he would represent working families, advocate for police and prosecutors who fight crime and look out for consumers.
