BEIJING -- The postmatch press conference got a little chippy, but as far as the real world sticking its sometimes-ugly mug into the magic that so often comes with the Olympic Games, this wasn't the Blood in the Water muggings when the Soviets and Hungary met in water polo at the 1956 Melbourne Games.

Just three weeks after the Soviets had invaded Budapest, they met Hungary in the pool. It turned into a Bloods and Crips showdown and finally the match was halted with Hungary up 4-0.
