BEAVERCREEK -- Public officials and property owners continue to work with engineers and state officials on the lengthy process to find the best way to eliminate the last intersections along U.S. 35 between Dayton and the West Virginia state line.

The main goal of the project, which carries a $100 million price tag, is to increase safety along a 4.3-mile stretch just east of Dayton that is traveled by 40,000 cars a day. To do so, plans are to eliminate or convert intersections to interchanges without hampering traffic flow, said Daniel Baah, design project manager.
