DAYTON -- Severa Mukamwiza's mother taught her to make baskets from tall grasses as a child in Rwanda. She also taught her that smiling helped to cope with life's hardship.
Mukamwiza, 50, now lives in Dayton with a growing number of Rwanda refugees while her mother remains in their troubled homeland caring for 10 children orphaned by civil war and political unrest.See the full content of this document
