Study Receives Funding ; Congress Oks $1m to Look at Aerospace Trade Show

Congress approved a measure that would provide $1 million in federal money to study the feasibility of an international aerospace trade show in Dayton, correcting an omission in an earlier bill that allocated the money but didn't specify where the trade show should take place.

"This is very exciting because we have worked hard to get resources directed toward pursuing an international air and trade show specifically in the Dayton area," said U.S. Rep. Mike Turner, R- Centerville. "An international air and trade show, in Dayton, will be good for the U.S. aerospace industry as well as our local economy."
