LEBANON -- The search for answers in the unsolved slaying of a Sycamore Hospital nurse, sexually assaulted and shot to death in her Warren County home almost a decade ago, moves into a courtroom on Monday.

Her husband, former Springboro police Lt. Thomas J. "Jim" Barton, is scheduled to stand trial on three felony charges alleging he's responsible for the shooting death of his 40-year-old wife, Vickie, on April 11, 1995. Prosecutors plan to argue that Barton commissioned a burglary to scare her into moving to Springboro.
