DAYTON -- The University of Dayton offered Dunbar High School's Josh Benson a scholarship last year based on projections of what he could become, but the 6-foot-10 senior center is already maximizing that potential.

Benson tallied 48 points, shooting 20-of-32 from the field and 8- for-10 from the foul line, in an 84-72 win over Columbus Brookhaven on Saturday. He also had 15 rebounds and four blocks.
