Police Union Makes Concessions

Summary


DAYTON -- Settlement terms of the city's contract with its police force include nearly $800,000 in concessions by officers and a significant increase in health care premiums in order to help the stave off a budget deficit.

Terms of the contract, approved by the city's 379 officers Monday night, were released Wednesday, Aug. 25, after Dayton's City Commission approved the deal. Officers agreed to the following terms:
