TROTWOOD -- Within the shadow of the long-abandoned Olde Town grain elevator, a group of high school students were clearing brush.

The long-neglected Little League fields and perhaps Olde Town are morphing back into the community's gathering spot. The ballfields are to become community gardens, complete with an amphitheater, demonstration plots and a children's garden on the weekends.
