There are plenty of good ways to embarrass yourself. Having tried most of them, I'd have to say that locking yourself out of the house is one of the best.
Technically, I did not lock myself out of the house the other day. What happened is that I took the dog for his morning walk, and when I got back the door between the garage and the kitchen was locked. This puzzles me, because that door hardly ever is locked.
