CENTERVILLE -- Bethany Village's plans to expand its retirement community at 6451 Far Hills Ave. took a giant step forward last week.

The Centerville Planning Commission voted unanimously Jan. 30 to recommend approval of Bethany's master plan for 30 new villas; 30 new independent living apartments in a three-story building; a village center for social gatherings, fitness and educational programs; a new memory support residence for those with Alzheimer's disease and other memory impairments; and a two-story parking garage.
