PIQUA -- Although there have been cuts in material purchases, staff and salaries, the Piqua Public Library has held off on reducing hours because of increased use.

However, if a new 1.1-mill, five year operating levy on the Nov. 2 ballot is not approved, more cuts will be needed, including probably in hours, Jim Oda, library director, said.
