Summary


It is just one of more than a hundred good deeds and special gifts of time and talent that will happen all across the Miami Valley, the state and the nation Saturday.

In Trotwood, a group of Sinclair Community College students will report to duty and help amputee David Battles, who lost his left leg because of a rare blood disorder and lives with 12-year-old grandson Donnie. The volunteers will be cleaning gutters on his roof, digging a water drain trench and helping in the maintenance of his home.
