Summary


Charley Neace isn't greedy. He only wanted one more. The Franklin bowler had tallied 11 strikes in his second game of doubles competition at the 2006 United States Bowling Congress Open Championships in early April. Neace was one ball away from perfection.

"After about my fifth strike, I started thinking it was possible because I knew I was lined up," Neace said. "But when I went up for the last shot, all 48 lanes stopped. It was dead silent. It was the most nervous I had ever been."
