POCKETFUL OF SUNSHINE
Female popsters often fi nd it tough to be taken seriously as artists when they're so dang bright and perky, but British singer Natasha Bedingfi eld's response to the conundrum is to simply ignore it. "Why'm I makin' this hard on myself / when there's so many beautiful reasons to be happy?" she asks on "Happy," and it sounds like a plan. Why mope when you're young, smart, good-looking, talented, full of dreams and doing rather nicely with your very- easyon-the-ears second album?
