Summary
A Dayton Daily News editorial ("Juvenile Court needs new leadership," Oct. 13), claims that Tony Capizzi has "considerable experience in juvenile court." Mr. Capizzi has virtually no experience in juvenile court when compared to Judge Michael Murphy. Murphy has served as a judge for 12 years, and prior to that time, he worked as a juvenile court referee, a hearing officer, and a probation officer. Murphy has dedicated his life to serving the juvenile justice system.
The editorial also suggest that Capizzi would somehow be a better administrator than Murphy. While Capizzi has practiced law, there is no indication that he has ever administered any organization which would compare to juvenile court.See the full content of this document
