DAYTON -- People are always coming up to 7-foot-2, 330-pound John Bunch and asking him if he plays basketball.

So he was not surprised three years ago when a woman asked that question when he was working as a ticket-taker at a movie theater in Owings Mills, Md. It turned out she was the wife of Robert Byers, the basketball coach at Lincoln University, a Division III school in Pennsylvania.
