At its peak, the company was gobbling up competitors and earned mention in Business Week magazine as one of the 100 fastest-growing companies in the nation. MCSi, with Peppel as its president and chief executive officer, regularly touted record quarterly earnings and reported double-digit earnings increases for 17 consecutive quarters.
