DAYTON -- Michael E. Peppel had become one of Dayton's upand- coming executives by 2002 as MCSi Inc., the computer and audio visual equipment sales company he headed as CEO, acquired other companies and soared in value.
At its peak, the company was gobbling up competitors and earned mention in Business Week magazine as one of the 100 fastest-growing companies in the nation.
