Your body requires fuel several times each day, so you have a constant supply of energy available. Eating smaller, frequent, healthy meals (as many as four to six times a day, or every few hours), instead of a large breakfast, lunch and dinner, helps keep your metabolism speedy and blood-sugar levels steadier.

Avoid skipping meals. Studies have shown that those who do are more likely to binge on junk food and also perform less efficiently at work.
