SPRINGBORO -- Everett B. "Bruce" Smith Jr., former teacher, coach and athletic director of the Springboro Panthers, died Saturday, Dec. 13, after a brief battle with cancer. He was 60.

Services are 2 p.m., today, Dec. 16, at Stratford Heights Church of God in Middletown, with burial following at Springboro Cemetery.
