Summary


It's doubtful that many Dayton students recognize James Taylor's "Fire and Rain" from the 1970s, but it's certain most of them were using versions of its lines during their spring intercession.

Before the break, the weather soared into the 70s, and spring fever was clearly making its contagious rounds of the classrooms. At the end of the day on March 27, when spring intercession finally arrived with temperatures in the high 60s, students burst from the buildings ready to run, jump, play ball, ride bikes, and do all those outdoor fun activities for the next two weeks.
