COLUMBUS -- Railroad enthusiasts are hustling to meet an Oct. 2 deadline to apply for $250 million to $400 million in federal stimulus money to establish passenger rail service between Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus and Cleveland.
"There is a lot of competition out there. There are 40 states who announced their intention to apply for the federal funding," said Stu Nicholson, spokesman for the Ohio Rail Development Commission.See the full content of this document
