A former Marine accused of killing pregnant Marine Lance Cpl. Maria Lauterbach of Vandalia pleaded not guilty Monday, June 8, in a Jacksonville, N.C., courtroom to first-degree murder. March 15, 2010, was set as the tentative date for trial.
Cesar Laurean also pleaded not guilty to robbery with a dangerous weapon, financial transaction card theft, attempted misdemeanor financial transaction card fraud and obtaining property by false pretenses. If convicted, he could face life in prison.See the full content of this document
