DETROIT - Democrat John Kerry on Friday outlined an economic plan that he said would create 10 million new jobs over the next four years, partly by changing the federal corporate tax code to replace tax incentives for taking jobs outside the United States with incentives that keep jobs at home.

Kerry also came to Michigan, which has lost more than 200,000 jobs since Republican President Bush took office in January 2001, to receive the endorsement of the United Auto Workers union, which did not endorse a candidate before Michigan's Democratic presidential caucuses in February, which Kerry won.
