Summary

The last time tight end Louis Irizarry played at Ohio Stadium, he was a Buckeye. On Saturday, Irizarry made his return to the Horseshoe, this time for Youngstown State. "Any time you come out and see the fans, it's a great privilege to be there," Irizarry said. "It's exciting, and that proved to be true today for our team."

Irizarry, a highly touted recruit out of Youngstown Ursuline High School, played in eight games as a freshman for the Buckeyes in 2003 and was primed to take a starting job in 2004. But he was convicted of a felony robbery in June of 2004 and was dismissed from the team. He was on probation at the time, stemming from a misdemeanor assault in 2003.
