DAYTON -- The SCLC hopes the kickoff of a conflict resolution initiative next month brings together a number of other local groups that want to have an impact in stopping violence involving teens -- an issue that has once again made news.

Just Thursday, 17-year-old Tearonn D. Daniel was gunned down as he stood outside with friends on Waymire and Bohemian avenues. Six others received non-life-threatening injuries.
