DAYTON -- A Dayton man, in the custody of Montgomery County sheriff's deputies while being treated at Miami Valley Hospital, escaped for a time by taking a cab home while wearing a hospital gown and an adult diaper.

Dayton police found Christopher Stewart, 45, Monday night at his home in the 1900 block of Shaftsbury Road, nearly six miles from the hospital.
