Hunters Can Look Forward to an Excellent Waterfowl Season

Summary


Ohio's waterfowl hunting season opens Saturday in both the north and south zones, and Ohio Division of Wildlife officials anticipate plenty of birds.

"Good to excellent water conditions in the Prairie Pothole region of the U.S. and Canada have resulted in good duck populations and good production this past summer and should equate to good hunting opportunity during the 2006 season," said Steve Gray, division chief.
