D.L. Hughley has had his share of problems with television. His UPN sitcom, "The Hughley's," was his most successful show. It ran for four seasons, from 1998 to 2002, but his other ventures didn't fare as well.

Hughley co-starred in the short-lived drama "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" and hosted newsbased talk shows such as "Weekends at the DL" and " D.L. Hughley Breaks the News." These shows were all cancel ed prematurely, but the Los Angeles native isn't bitter.
