HUBER HEIGHTS -- School board officials Thursday night voted to try again this spring to pass a 6.5-mill operating levy.

With students picketing to protest proposed cuts to the industrial arts program, school board officials opted to place the levy on the May 8 ballot. If passed, it will cost the owner of a $100,000 home $199.06 in additional taxes each year.
